Peer Review Process
The Eurasian Clinical and Analytical Medicine (ECAM) journal employs a stringent and unbiased peer-review system for all submitted manuscripts. Each submission is initially assessed by the editorial team for relevance to the journal’s scope, originality, and scientific rigor. Manuscripts meeting these criteria proceed to a double-blind peer-review phase, which preserves the anonymity of both authors and reviewers to promote an unbiased evaluation.
During this phase, each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent specialists in the relevant field. Reviewers offer comprehensive evaluations, focusing on aspects such as research methodology, validity of findings, contribution to the field, and adherence to ethical standards. Their insights provide the foundation for editorial decisions, which may involve accepting, requesting revisions, or rejecting the manuscript. This meticulous process upholds the scientific integrity and editorial quality of our journal.
Commitment to Academic Standards and Accessibility
ECAM is dedicated to promoting impactful medical research by maintaining high academic and ethical standards throughout its publication process. Submissions from Editorial Board Members
In accordance with the principles and recommendations of international publishing ethics organizations such as ICMJE, COPE, WAME, and DOAJ, the journal implements a transparent and impartial editorial process for manuscripts submitted by members of the editorial board.
To prevent any potential conflicts of interest, the following measures are taken:
- The manuscript is assigned to an independent editor who has no conflicts of interest with the author and is not part of the editorial board.
- The submitting editor is excluded from all stages of the review process, including reviewer assignment, decision-making, and correspondence.
- The manuscript undergoes double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.
- When necessary, a third reviewer or a senior editor is involved to ensure objectivity.
- All editorial activities are documented in the system and maintained with transparency.
- Final decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief or a delegated senior editor, with no involvement from the author-editor.
These practices are designed to uphold academic integrity, ensure impartial evaluation, and maintain full compliance with scientific publishing standards.
