Editorial Policies
Eurasian Clinical and Analytical Medicine (ECAM) adheres to internationally recognized standards (ICMJE, COPE, CRediT, DOAJ, BOAI). This page summarizes our core policies and links to related resources.
Scope, Open Access & Fees
ECAM publishes original research, reviews, case reports, and short communications across the clinical and analytical medicine spectrum. The journal follows a full open access model. No submission or publication fees are charged.
Peer Review (Double-Blind)
All manuscripts undergo editorial screening for scope, originality, and ethics, followed by evaluation from at least two independent experts under a double-blind model. Editorial decisions are based on scientific merit.
Research Ethics & Approvals
Human research must follow the Declaration of Helsinki; animal studies must follow the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals. Ethical approval and informed consent are mandatory.
Authorship & Contributor Roles
Authorship is defined according to the four ICMJE criteria. Contributions should be detailed using the CRediT taxonomy.
Conflicts of Interest & Funding
All authors, editors, and reviewers must declare financial and non-financial conflicts. Funding sources and the role of funders must be transparent.
Clinical Trial Registration & Data Transparency
Clinical trials must be prospectively registered in a public registry (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov). Data availability and IPD sharing statements are encouraged.
Plagiarism & Publication Misconduct
All submissions are screened for similarity. Redundant publication, plagiarism, or data manipulation result in editorial action following COPE guidelines.
Use of AI Tools
AI tools may support language editing but cannot be authors. All use must be disclosed in the manuscript, and responsibility remains with the human authors.
Corrections & Retractions
ECAM publishes corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions as needed. All notices remain linked to the original article and comply with COPE Retraction Guidelines.
Complaints & Appeals
Concerns about editorial decisions or processes may be submitted to info@eurasianmed.com. All cases are handled confidentially, and COPE processes may be consulted.
Archiving, DOI & Accessibility
All articles receive a DOI and are archived permanently, ensuring long-term accessibility. Revised versions are added while older versions remain accessible for transparency.
Copyright & Licensing
ECAM content is published under CC BY-NC 4.0. Authors retain copyright. Non-commercial reuse is permitted with attribution.
