Advertising, Sponsorship, and Financial Relationships
At Eurasian Clinical and Analytical Medicine (ECAM), transparency and ethical integrity guide all publishing practices. This policy clarifies how advertising, sponsorship, and financial support are managed to protect editorial independence, ensure reader trust, and preserve the scientific record.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions—including reviewer selection, peer review, and acceptance—are made solely based on scientific merit and ethical standards. Advertisers, sponsors, or funders have no influence over ECAM’s editorial processes.
Advertising
Advertisements are clearly separated from editorial content and labeled as “Advertisement” or “Sponsored Content.” Acceptance of an advertisement does not imply endorsement by ECAM. All advertising materials are subject to editorial review for compliance with medical ethics, patient safety, and journal integrity, and must adhere to applicable national and institutional regulations.
Sponsorship and Financial Support
Sponsorship of journal issues, supplements, or scientific events is disclosed transparently. All institutional, corporate, or individual financial contributions are declared in the related publication, with scope and conditions summarized. Sponsors do not participate in content selection, peer-review outcomes, or editorial decisions.
Ethical Boundaries of Support
Any financial, logistical, or institutional support during research or publication must be fully disclosed in the Acknowledgements and/or Funding / Conflict of Interest sections. Methodological or analytical contributions with potential conflicts (e.g., statistical analysis or medical writing) must also be specified. Where appropriate, ECAM encourages sharing of data, materials, and methods to enhance transparency and reproducibility.
Joint Scientific Activities and Collaborations
Collaborations with universities, research centers, professional societies, or industry are permitted only under transparent and ethical frameworks. The nature of the collaboration, financial or logistical contributions, and partner roles are disclosed in full. Joint initiatives are evaluated strictly on academic merit, ethical compliance, and contribution to science.
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
ECAM requires authors, reviewers, and editors to declare all financial and non-financial conflicts of interest. The journal follows the principles and guidance of COPE, ICMJE Disclosure, WAME and DOAJ. Full transparency is essential for impartial peer review, trustworthy publishing, and protection of scientific integrity.
